BASIC AIRSOFT SAFETY AND HANDLING OF AIRSOFT BIO BBS

Safety is important. Be aware of your surroundings, and never use airsoft products with malice intentions. You should always use proper eye protection when your airsoft gun is loaded with bbs. Airsoft bbs can be a severe choking hazard for young children. They can also cause a slip hazard. If you happen to spill them on the floor, make sure you clean them up promptly and warn others in the area.

 

PLEASE READ THESE DO'S AND DON'TS BEFORE USE

 

DO

  • Be alert and aware of your surroundings. 

  • Manage your airsoft guns as if they are loaded. 

  • Use proper full seal eye protection with the current ANSI Z87 rating or higher. 

  • Use proper face protection to protect the mouth and teeth. 

  • Ear protection should also be used.

  • Keep your finger off the trigger and safety unless you are ready to shoot. 

  • Keep your airsoft guns in a proper discreet bag or carrying case.

  • Use a high-quality biodegradable bb when playing outdoors. Using a bio bb indoors can also help the environment as well. 

  • Respect the local laws about orange tips and bright color markings on your airsoft guns.

  • Remove all magazines, gas, C02, or batteries from guns while traveling in a vehicle. Store Airsoft guns in a locked trunk. 

  • Inform law enforcement of your airsoft guns if you happen to be pulled over for a traffic infraction. 

  • Read up on the local laws regarding airsoft. 

  • Use common sense and good judgment.

Don't

  • Never use your airsoft guns with malice intentions. 

  • Don't brandish your airsoft guns in public. 

  • Never re-use bbs

  • Avoid cheap bbs and bbs weighing less than 0.20g

  • Never look down the muzzle of your airsoft gun.

  • Do not point or aim people that are not willing to be shot at or someone that is not wearing proper protection. 

  • Do not shoot animals.

  • Do not bring your airsoft guns to or near a school.

  • Never pretend to others that your airsoft is a real firearm.

  • Don't alter your airsoft guns to where they become a danger to you or others. 

  • Do not shoot at targets that you cannot see. 

 

  

Airsoft is a great activity and extremely safe when you play safe. Always play fair and safe. Encourage others to play safe as well. Airsoft bbs can be dangerous if proper safety precautions are not taken. Please take the time to help others that might be causing a dangerous situation. Always read manuals, caution, and warning labels. Always respect the rules of the field you are playing at.
